first of all..

remember when they used to perform quite a lot at clubs before their debut day

when they finally debuted but they still needed more recognition from others so they had to attract people by doing street performances (busking) // this was when they were performing at kondae (konkuk university area)

even after their first live concert, they still did busking live performance quite a lot. This was when they held busking event at coex mall.

let’s move on to their second solo concert, Live Concert Dream. They first held it in Korea. But before this concert happened, they released ‘daydream’.

This was their very first overseas concert too. Which is part of the Live Concert Dream. The concert was held in Bangkok, Thailand. There were approximately 4000 people attended their concert back then.

Yet it was still a very beginning for them.

they didn’t stop there, they continued their journey by making every DAY6 project and held concerts every month. I can say that they really put a lot of efforts in this project. And a lot of people started to acknowledge them and their talents.

and now let’s talk about this! they finally held their first world tour concert after they released ‘shoot me’ and ‘remember us’ (RU was released during the period of youth tour). The Youth concerts were held in many cities in different countries

look at the amount of people in every cities/countries attending their concerts.

But still, they didn’t stop here.

and oh let’s not forget that they won awards too. Best band performance (MGMA 2018)

after they released the book of us: gravity (time of our life as the title track) they won another awards too.

and this, day6 won the band award (MGMA 2019)

yep, they didn’t stop chasing their dreams. They continued their journey. The second world tour, Gravity Tour. More cities (than the first one) in different countries.

They released the second chapter of tbou: entropy during the period of their second world tour too.

If you scroll this thread up, you’ll realize how far they’ve come.

And they definitely won’t stop here.

ps: i’m sorry i didn’t input ymmd, scentographer, the present, youth encore, their japan tour/promotion, and many other events. I think that would be a lot for just one thread (but that’s not the point)

The point of this thread is, i just want us to take a moment to appreciate their long yet memorable journey until they became who they are today

to close this thread, let me say: Happy 5th anniversary, DAY6. Thank you for not giving up. Thank you for holding on to each other. Thank you for always being strong for us. Thank you for showing us what ‘hard work’ is. And thank you for helping us (esp. me) through everything
