As a GP I find #lowcarb to be a VERY effective approach to helping pts with T2D/weight gain.

However, trying to convince my 2ndry care colleagues it's sustainable is not so easy.

Has anyone managed to keep it up for a year or more? 🧐

If so, how long?
Any plans to quit?
🙏
Wow amazing responses already thank you!

Grateful for any RTs as well to build a big picture..

I cut carbs 9 months ago to experience what I was recommending (had already worked out sugar /🍌 made me feel rubbish)

Wish I'd done it sooner. Rarely hungry, real food delicious.
Again wow!
I'm being deluged by incredible success stories demonstrating that

🌟 #lowcarb works
🌟IT IS SUSTAINABLE
🌟 Folks will not return to their
pre- #lowcarb ways even if they are bribed

I've also learned that
🌟 #lchf cures/improves virtually everything including wind!
And if you're in the USA #lchf may potentially save you a tonne of cash!

Clearly not an RCT, but when does N=1 X many thousands count as evidence of sustainability? 🤔

Thanks so much for all the contributions! 🙉
