I am going to start a #BirdandDizzy thread so I can keep all their nonsense contained and logically ordered
Bird has worn himself out chewing on my knitting needles and now he is doing his best sleeping. No-one can sleep better than Bird. When conscious he's not very clingy, but he loves to sleep next to you on the sofa
(my toes are very warm as his little face is pressed up against then)
Dizzy has also come to join us and has curled up on my lap. Bird seems like he would love anyone who could adequately open a tin, but with Dizzy there is a specific sense that he loves me in particular
Dizzy has Cutaneous Horns, which means all of his front beans have little keratinn growths on them like an extra set of claws. We can clip then off of they affect him, but he doesn't seem to be bothered right now.
Dizzy, a giddy idiot of a creature, has just wrestled a feather from my bag - I picked it up on today's walk as a toy for him. He is trotting around with it in his mouth, chewing it, and growling furiously at anyone who comes near.
Dizzy meows when he has been on his own for a while and wants to let you know he is pleased to see you. I was out running for half an hour and came back to an flirty cat in need of a lap. He has however been emitting some powerful farts which has taken the shine off the moment
Conversely Bird only meows because you are in the kitchen? But his bowl is empty? Why is this please? More food for the Bird? and it is a funny little croak of a noise. He also shouts because he has accidentally been shut in the hall cupboard, as I learned this morning 😬
WAIT DIZZY HAS JUST MADE BISCUITS ON ME IT WAS ALL I WANTED AND I CAN DIE HAPPY
Good morning, a tiny Bird is carrying round the enormous feather duster in his mouth, only stopping to occasionally wrestle it and show it who's boss. Ignore the sound, my podcast did not automatically switch off when I turned the camera on.
Someone is sitting on my butt
Both are engaged in classic behaviours this morning - Dizzy is overwhelmed by a feather he found, Bird is trying to chew his way into a foil tray for his third breakfast
Bird is too independent to sit on my lap, but he still needs somewhere to make biscuits
I take back the comment about the independence
They're so very different. I would definitely say that I love Dizzy more (although that doesn't mean that I love Bird any less) but Bird is objectively better (although that doesn't mean that Dizzy is worse)
Bird was sitting on my lap when Partner sat down next to me and said "You want to come and sit over here, it's much better" and the little traitor went and fucking did it
which is possibly because he is still cross from when I had to haul him OUT FROM UNDER THE OVEN EARLIER, HOW DID HE EVEN GET THETE
I do have a lapful of Dizzy as compensation, but given that he's peed on me twice it's a high risk activity
someone has done a protest poop on the landing and there are reasons to suspect both cats, the furry idiots are dead to me
Bird has found a loose thread on the corner of my dress and is now trying to eat the whole thing
no matter what we can buy, nothing will ever give him more joy than a pigeon feather I found in the street
matching!!
felt that Dizzy had been ignoring me today so I pulled him on to the sofa, so now he is ignoring me on the sofa
Dizzy is very clearly a Long Teen, Bird appears to be the undocumented Teen Potat https://twitter.com/cubewatermelon/status/1164739826412859392?s=19
"What are you DOING TO YOURSELF" they mew in horror. Friends, I am having a bath
a lil creeper has appeared
my smol orange son is here to alleviate my crippling depression đŸ˜»
I'm still very sad but I have at least rubbed a furry tumtum
