She waited until JULY to appoint a task force to look into better ways to protect our seniors. In the meantime FOUR months had passed of infecting vulnerable seniors in nursing homes with covid postive residents that were returned to their residencies per @GovWhitmer EO!

At the end of July, @GovWhitmer VETOED a bill that had BI-partisan SUPPORT to create DEDICATED facilities to PRoTECT seniors in #nursinghomes ! Then on Aug 31, her task force suggestions MIRROR the bill she VETOED!

@GovWhitmer task force suggested the use of dedicated facilities to FIX the nursing home policy! Yet yesterday she extended her ORIGINAL #nursinghome EO with no changes to moving towards dedicated facilities! It has now been 6 months and her nursing home slaughter continues!

It is HIGH-TIME that the @TheJusticeDept START an actual investigation as to the dangerous nursing home policy that Michigan seniors have had to endure under @GovWhitmer’s watch while bi-partisan legislation and her own task force has recommended CHANGES to SAVE LIVES!
