That "underperformance" is a myth sold to you by @DavidAxelrod and @AKPDmedia. If Dr. Jonathan "underperformed," then what was the frame of reference?

Was it Shehu Shagari? Yakubu Gowon? Sani Abacha? Who exactly did he "underperform" in comparison to among his predecessors? https://twitter.com/applephilia/status/1302156523410317312
I will keep campaigning for media literacy to become a 100 level GST module in Nigerian universities because too many of us didn't and still don't understand how to differentiate factual discourse from clever dodo fried by PR agencies.

PR rules the world.
Dr. Jonathan delivered the closest thing Nigeria has ever had to an open society with an FOI bill, and he also delivered 7% YOY economic growth amidst an insurgency, plus FDI inflows exceeding even those recorded after the return of democracy. These are verifiable facts.
The stats say that Dr. Jonathan is the best economic manager and democracy promoter who has ever occupied Aso Rock.

Some rich Alhajis and one fellow in Ikoyi hired David Axelrod to make you ignore the facts and instead squirt your hormones and emotions over your decision making.
2015 showed that marketing and Public Relations at the right scale can work on absolutely anyone, and that even people who consider themselves smart and engaged can be turned into abject dunces by appealing to their emotions and bigotries.

Simple as that.
