Allah being referred to as ‘He’:
A thread.
Within Arabic similarly to spanish there are masculine and feminine words. Arabic also has a third Neuter which means neither masculine or feminine. This leads to having to describe inanimate objects and everything in this way without actually being feminine or masculine.
In arabic the masculine word is used as it is easier linguistically and also the feminine form is derived from it, therefore it makes more sense to use that pronoun.
Allah is the all knowing, and he himself refers to himself in this way in numerous Ayahs, to the extent he also refers to himself as ‘we’ that doesn’t mean he is more than one person.
An example is
“It is He (Allah) Who is the only Ilah (God to be worshipped) in the heaven and the only Ilah (God to be worshipped) on the earth. And He is the All-Wise, the All-Knower.”
[az-Zukhruf 43:84].
Who are we to question allah and what he feels is befitting?
I would also like to point out that Allah, cannot be described as masculine or feminine in any true sense; rather that (use of the masculine pronoun) is necessary for the purpose of communication in human languages and what people need in communicating ideas about Allah.
Everything that is either masculine or feminine is something that is created and Allah. Allah is not a man nor a woman, may He be exalted, is the Creator of the masculine and feminine.
Saying things like ‘God is a woman’ and that Allah is Non Binary, astaghfirullah , is completely different to referring to allah as ‘he’ as you’re literally saying Allah is something he clearly isn’t. May allah forgive us all.
