How to use emails to SELL.

*Thread*

You need people to know more about your business and build some strong relationships with them so more conversions would take place.

How to build trust and how to write high opening rate emails is essential.

There is what you have to do.
1)Collect as little infos as possible.

When signing up for a newsletter you can ask just for the email.

When you want to send personalized offers you can ask for a name or personal preferences.
But don’t go out there asking for country, phone, address or any other kind of additional information.

People won’t give it to a stranger on the internet so easy and it will build a barrier that prevents new sign-ups.
2)Offer the possibility of choosing frequency of emails.

I bet you don’t like to be spammed daily with news from a store that contains discounts and any other ordinary garbage.

It’s annoying and it will turn into an unsubscribe.
Plus, some email services will turn it directly into spam.

Getting in spam is something you HAVE to avoid.
3)Make it EXTREMELY easy to unsubscribe.

This option will help with trust.

The unsubscribe link must be visible and accessible to anyone.
If somebody wants to unsubscribe.

It possibly means that it’s not interested in your products anymore so that’s a way of cleaning up your email list from non-potential customers.
4)Use a special email address.

If you have a newsletter.

And a customer’s assistance service.

It’s important to use different email addresses for them.
The newsletter is for sending news and offers about your products.

When the customer’s assistance service is for helping customers with their problems.
5)Subjects must be eye-catching but subtle.

Don’t use emojis, dollars signs, FREE, DISCOUNT or SPECIAL in email’s subjects.

Most of them will be ignored and some email services, again, will consider them as spam.
The message must be short and convincing, with relevant words.

People will always open emails from trusted senders.
6)Use good looking designs.

Emails must be visual and pleasing to the eye.

Use a good format and stick to it.

Short paragraphs, 1-3 sentences each, focused around one idea.

You need to ask yourself “what the receivers see?” and “does it arouse their curiosity?”.
7)Links and CTAs.

Links must be used with moderation and always partnered with calls to action.

So, don’t exaggerate with them.

Buttons are highly recommended.

Basic links like unsubscribe, updating preferences and updating contact info must be at the end of EVERY email.
8)The tone of the writing.

Here you must know your audience very well.

Focus more on writing with little authority using a pretty fun language.

Too much fun tone will make you look unprofessional and too little can scare potential customers away from your email list.
9)What readers don& #39;t like.

They don’t like offers and advertisements.

Write more about benefits of using your products, the fabrication process and things similar.

Don’t make it look like an ad campaign.

Make your customers curious about you and what you offer.
And with that, I& #39;ve only touched the tip.

If you find it interested and helpful,

A retweet will be very appreciated.
