No one is saying you have to like John. But you can’t equate stuff that happened online with fandom stuff to John speaking on real life issues that affect him and many other BIPOC in this fandom.

And I’m sorry that you think calling people out for being racist and not apologizing or even admitting they were wrong is a witch hunt, but fandom needs to be a safe place for everyone. It’s not a safe place when BIPOC feel left out, and discriminated against
