We are not building this idea of a unified Pacific as some WOO WOO idea. It's because we as a Pacific have a few things in common! And we know this: colonizers categorized us to divide us.

We need to expand the borders, reform & strrengthen those networks. We need to #decolonize

We will all need these networks one day. We are a network--one of currents. We came to the Pacific on those currents. We cannot afford to waste time on division when we have BEEN trying to put out fires in our own lands individually, as the system works against us. #DeepPasifika

How easily could we get these colonizers out as a Unified Pacific? How much easier could our lives be when we choose to reindigenize our lives?

Imagine a Pacific Council of sorts. How different would it be if we were able to look out for each other instead of just ourselves?

Disclaimer: we are just a grassroots network right now but we are growing. As we should be.

We are not romanticizing any of the hard work it would take to get there but at the same time: banding up together isn't that hard is it? Why aren't we there?
