Production value as groups like Twice or EXO. The production value in songs by SM groups in general is super high. The song is not your basic music with vocals, it has heavy amount of layering, harmonies, adlibs. In the case of layering, same person can be singing the chorus+

While belting out a high note. This can be noticed in MANY solo songs, this is done to avoid song sounding or feeling empty. So you vocal coaches tell me, how can they do two things at the same time? They do sing the main lyrics of the song live, but use AR for the bg harmonies.

This is what Live [AR] means. The vocal support is basically all those adlibs and harmonies done by the same members. The main lyrics are still sung live. Stop coming for the vocals of these groups and think that you did something.
