I really wish we got to see what was next for Lola Pacini on @Degrassi
1. Her and miles ? ENDGAME. Was it a perfect way to start their relationship? Absolutely not. Realistic? YEP. & they were 10 X the couple miles and Tristan were! But Lola and literally anyone is the cutest!

I obviously wanted her with Miles, as I’ve said I shipped them! But she was even cute with Tiny! (Even tho that was fucked lol) — and start the end, I would have loved to see her with Saad like the ending portrayed and seen how that played out, but we weren’t given enough —
So it was harder for me to ship them compared to Mola who we seen blossom over an entire season. It was very obvious their feelings were real and probably the deepest connection miles has ever had.
I understand him wanting to be there for Tristan because “he’s the only one that’s ever accepted him.” But that’s not at all true. He’s NEVER accepted him. PERIOD.
He has always shamed Miles for being bisexual. And when Zoe thought she was bi or straight, he downed her for it. Obviously these are completely different situations because Zoe actually is fully gay, but miles IS bisexual completely.
Every time Tristan gets mad he throws up Miles Sexuality or Slut shames him. Which is abusive behavior. During the school election he literally says “you can’t even decide if you like boys or girls.” Completely disgregarding miles sexuality and claiming he can’t run the school —
Unless he chooses a sex to be attracted to. Embarrassing him in front of the entire school. Shaming him for his sexuality in front of everyone and showing his abusive nature. That’s where their relationship should have died for good!
On top of that, when they get back together, he speaks for miles when telling Zoe not to post a bf # about them saying that he’s “firmly on boys now.” Nah fam, he was just firmly on YOU. He’s 100% still bi
ON TOP OF THAT, he always tried to out Zoe before she was ready and that alone is disrespectful and despicable! As a member of the lgbtq+ community you know how tough that can be, you would never do that to someone else! PERIOD.
Yeah Miles fucked Tristan over multiple times but if you have no trust then the relationship is pointless. He constantly was mad at miles for having sex with other people before they ever even dated. Slut shaming him for seasonssssss
Despite all this, Miles had feelings for Tristan that were at least semi-real. He felt loyalty to him. But I’ll go ahead and say it, the best season was when Tristan was in the damn coma.
Afterwards, miles finds not only comfort in Lola but companionship. And it was BEAUTIFUL and SO REAL. They find each other while both dealing with their own grief and bond over their pain and fall in love.
Lola saves Miles from himself. She is his HOPE. I understand feeling guilty when Tristan wakes up, but not enough to stay in an abusive relationship when you found someone that accepts every part of you.
Lola doesn’t treat him differently. She says how she feels. She’s considerate of his feelings and never acts on her feelings until Miles kisses her and still makes sure to ask if he really wants to.
She constantly asks him how he’s feeling, if he’s okay, and checks in on him. She cares about how he feels. She lets him know she’s fully supportive of his sexuality and that they couldn’t be together because of their complicated situation.
She doesn’t care how many ppl he’s been w before or the fact that she had been w none. Even after he drops her like a hot potato when Tris wakes up, she doesn’t shit talk him, she doesn’t down him! she’s notibly mad when he blames her for their relationship but never downs him.
And although it was super realistic that he was back at tris bedside when he woke up and didn’t have time for Lola when she needed him to be there for her abortion, I wish he had been. But I think in a way, Lola needed to do that on her own.
However, their little moment after he figures out right before the play when he apologizes and acknowledges he should have been there for her was amazing. The hug in my opinion was a symbol that they would always have feelings but knew they’d never be able to act on them again.
She even agrees to him wanting to keep what happened a secret. She tells literally NO ONE about them. Everyone of course speculates but nobody knows for sure. Do you know how huge that was for Lola?? Especially Lola prior to her character development who loveddd drama???
She’s super understanding with miles even though she knew she’d grieve their relationship some day. She knew it would be short lived but loved miles anyway for the short time they had.
And poor Lola asks him (one last thing) if she meant anything to him. He calls her his Hope. As not to give her too much to hold onto but enough to know she really meant something to him. Which is important for Lola being that she feels like everyone’s second choice.
He even admits to Tristan that he loved her!
Then poof, season four they practically act like NONE of that happened.
Which is garbage because of their undeniable chemistry. I wish we got more from @Degrassi. Lola was only a junior so there was at least 2 more seasons of material for her!
Also, just to add, in case I didn’t say enough to convince you Mola was endgame. HERE’S MORE.
Their Snapchat’s (oomfchats) we’re ADORABLE.
Then Lola gets miles to help out at her restaurant to give him something else to do to occupy himself so he can take a break from feeling so depressed over Tristan. And always reassures him that it’s okay to take care of himself first and make sure he’s okay before taking care —
— of others. As well as making sure he knows others opinions are irrelevant!
Then, it’s not really addressed but Miles was totally trying to learn Spanish for Lola! (At this point @Degrassi is just trying to play my heart strings like a fucking fiddle)
THEN miles wrote an ENTIRE play about Lola! Which I’ve referenced in this thread a few times. Yeah, it’s not really about Tristan. Let’s get that straight NOW. It’s about our homegirl! @Degrassi just admit you love torturing ME!
Obviously we don’t agree with cheating of any kind around here, however, tris was an absolutely horrible and abusive boyfriend. If you compare Lola and Tristan you’ll have no problem seeing how I feel about who Miles should have ended up with!
Also he was in a coma for 3 months. Not 3 days. I know that’s not long but they are TEENAGERS and it really hurt miles who had already been hurt a whole lot!
And one more thing, that hug and back rub after saying “you were my hope” showed pretty much undeniable chemistry that I will probably never forgive the degrassi writers for giving up on!!
Not to mention the play ends with him begging “Hope” to stay and her claiming that he never needed her, he needed someone but now coma boy needs him. I’m not entirely sure what would have happened if miles chose to give Tristan up for Lola.
But I’m sure it would have ended similar to the play. He’d beg her to stay, but she’d try to let him go because she cared more for him than herself and needs.
