I don't think people understand how traumatic this situation is for Bayleigh & Day. They are one of the only few ppl there that looks like them and have had to assimilate to make these ppl respect/take them seriously...and guess what??? It still didn't work. #bb22

They are called aggressive, sassy, has been accused of stealing, misunderstood, ppl assume that they're ticking time bombs & will incite violence. It's exhausting. Even tho they might not be aware of all that's being said, they can definitely sense these microaggressions. #bb22

So yes, it's frustrating for them to have to constantly deal with it. And unless you're black, you won't fully understand that trauma. Have compassion. #bb22
