how to have a cute and aesthetic desktop icons on windows10 [a thread]

1st: make sure your desktop is upgraded to windows10. i am not sure if this work on other type windows!

2nd: you can make your own 50x50 PNG icons or just google whatever kind of icon you desire. but if you have no theme in mind, you can go to http://icons8.com/icon  and then search for the app of you want to change the icon (e.g. ms word aesthetic) there are hundreds of templates

3rd: once you have saved all the desktop icons of the apps that you want to change go to http://convertico.com  and convert all those pngs to ico, then save.

4th: go to start - find the app - right click - choose open file location - right click the app once your file manager launched - click properties - go to the shortcut tab - choose change icon - click browse and click the icos you have converted earlier.

5th: click apply then ok. you're all set! just repeat the steps for other apps. just a recommendation: you can rename them on your desktop with a fancy font on http://igfonts.io  to make it look more aesthetic.
