why sou is such a well written character: a thread

when the game first begins, you’re immediately on edge right? i mean, youre kidnapped and your life is threatened, and youre met with strangers who are in the same situation as you. however, you only feel on edge. when sou asks you to give him the gun, i was creeped tf out

which was the first time the game got such a reaction from me. after that he calls you “sara” instead of “ miss sara,” which he quickly apologizes for. now i might be wrong, but he does the same thing during the main game where he says its your turn to die. he says “sara”

if im right, this is SOOO important because we know hes shin tsukimi going by sou hiyori to avoid being killed. now, later in the game we finally meet the real sou, who also calls sara “miss sara” idk where i was goinf with this thread, but i really loved this little detail +

because with that, we can tell that shin adopted this persona because he felt as if sou was wither the scariest person he knew, the person most likely to survive something like this, or both

ugh i know its so minor and i really didnt need to make a thread for smth like this but i just love stuff like this. also i didnt mention that he didnt say “miss sara” during the main game because he was too scared or too excited to keep up the sou persona
