Hi Todd - Here's an answer that I think is honest. People who are involved in the movement were deeply affected by the local death, to the extent that even going to work, functioning normally, or concentrating on other concerns has been very difficult.
They give up their Friday night to protest in the streets and find affluent white people dining and drinking outside fancy restaurants, care free, as if nothing is going on.
These protesters honesty feel that the restaurants should be closed, and/or that the patrons should be elsewhere, basically more with them, because of what they perceive to be the seriousness of the major issue of the day.
