You may be seeing #VentureBros and #GoTeamVenture trending and wondering just what the deal with the show is. Well, here's a thread from a longtime fan to fill you in on just what The Venture Bros. is and why it's so special to us!
So what is The Venture Bros.?

The Venture Bros. is an [adult swim] show following the titular boy-adventurers Hank and Dean Venture, their super-scientist father Dr. Thaddeus "Rusty" Venture and their badass bodyguard Brock Samson.
The show chronicles their various misadventures in a style parodying classic boy-adventurer media from the 20th century such as Jonny Quest, as well as other staples of pop culture, but it doesn't stop there.
Around this simple idea one of the deepest and most entertaining universes ever portrayed in animation was born, chock-full of references and tributes to all sorts of things both staple and obscure, from all across popular culture!
Going into too much deeper detail would spoil the absolute journey that a first watch-through of The Venture Bros. is, but you need to trust me when I tell you that this show is just an absolute gold mine of loving tributes to just about everything!
The show premiered in 2004 and since then it's been a fan-favourite [adult swim], running for 16 years and never ever losing its flair and genius. Though some aspects have aged poorly, the show is absolutely worth watching for anyone and it has so much to be enjoyed!
The show means so much to so many people, it's an absolute hidden gem that relatively few people ever even hear of and it deserves so much more than having its cancellation announced with a QRT meme by a friend of the creator.
Therefore, I encourage you all to give the show a chance and keep tweeting #VentureBros and #GoTeamVenture, whether you're a fan of the show or not, to make our voices heard!
This thread would be worded better and have more information but it is currently like 5AM here and I am shattered so please excuse any mistakes that might be present and the overall sloppy composition.
