It's no secret that our leader Kim Namjoon has been a big inspiration. He debuted as a leader when he was only 18 years old.

Even so, he successfully led his team and now they are the biggest group in the world!
This thread covers the top qualities of Namjoon that make him an extraordinary leader.

Namjoon’s communication skill is a vital part of the group. Everyone knows his role as BTS’ spokesperson.
His communication skill also contributed to building trust, solving problems, and even providing direction to the group.
INTEGRITY: sticking to their word, living by their core values, leading by example, and following-through.

Namjoon always acts with so much wisdom and integrity. For example, he chose the members over his solo debut
ACCOUNTABILITY: giving credit where credit is due, and taking responsibility for blame when necessary.

Namjoon always has the sense of responsibility when it comes to leadership.
EMPATHY: having enough open-mindedness to understand the members’ motivations, hopes, and problems so that one can forge a deep personal connection with the members.

He does the best he can to help and look out for them when they need it.
HUMILITY: being humble, focusing on problem-solving, and team dynamics much more than self-promotion.

Even though all the members acknowledge his leadership, RM always treats the other members with so much respect back.
