title feels a little forced. alice in wonderland motifs are played out but i have a soft spot for em & i feel like tmas take would be fun. (still thinking about the taxidermy rabbit in 054. no i never expect it to be revisited but is it a delightful little bit of worldbuilding)
but the thematic connections are SUPER thin, so the allusion feels stale and pointless. maybe its not an allusion and i am overthinking it. either way, to be blunt, its kind of stupid and unnecessary
this episode is BEEFY. its only shorter than 111 and 080, both loredumps with sustained focus on one character. 177 is a party compared to the last 16 episodes of the Jon And Martin In The Wasteland show
the martin/basira friction is great and tbh this exchange makes him seem like a bitch, which i LOVE. your eldritch boyfriend has spoiled you rotten king please get some perspective
the statement is very deliberately (and effectively imo) paced, which adds a bit to the runtime too. i tried very hard to be brief about it but three days and dozens of drafts into this thread i still have all this shit to say, so strap in i guess
