The sad part with Trump fans is that he's been a con man forever, & his marks have always been the kind who adore him now. Ive interviewed so many working class people whose lives were wrecked for believing Trump in the past. He hates people like his fans, but loves adulation../1

...he stands for nothing, he denigrates those he sees as an opponent or better than him. The minute Trump fans stop cheering, Trump will turn on them. He is purely transactional - "I'll say what you want to hear for your cheers, and money and power." He does hate our troops.../2

...not because he's anti-American. He's anti nothing. He stands for & loves only himself, and has a deep, pathological need for adoration and to believe he is the best. So why does he look down on the troops? They did what he connived not to do - they served. He cant accept.../3

So, this explains why he attacks troops, veterans, McCain et al. Theyre all better than him. Theyre all braver than him. Theyre all patriots, and he isnt. And for him to convince himself he's a winner, they have to be suckers...
