In this world individuals have special abilities. The government tries to keep control of abilities by only allowing them to be used for work.1/5

To figure out whether an individual has abilities, and what type of job they will do, they are put through tests during their schooling years to determine what they will do for work. Individuals with abilities that are not compatible with workforces are sent to The Underground2/5

where testing is done, usually not to be seen again. (Abilities not compatible with a workforce are seen as a threat and have little knowledge about them.) Abilities start off at a base level. Over time and training, individuals can further develop their abilities and create3/5

new techniques for their abilities. (Because abilities are only allowed for work, it is common for more than one person to have similar or the same abilities, putting them in the same workforce. They can slightly differ depending on how the individual decides to execute their4/5

ability. The only acceptable way to develop techniques outside of work are during schooling years or in designated areas where abilities are permitted. These areas are heavily surveillanced)5/5
