I& #39;ve said it once, and I& #39;ll say it again, you don& #39;t have to give talks at conferences to contribute within #infosec

Other things you could do:

1. Write a guide
2. Find bugs
3. Make YouTube videos
4. Encourage others
5. Write a book
6. Offer mentorship
7. Review resumes
8. Start a podcast
9. Volunteer at conferences or for organizations
..and lastly:
10. Educate, because the more you learn - the more you can give back.
When I say lastly, I mean for this list. I& #39;ve seen outstanding community contributions. I didn& #39;t even mention making tools or submitting feature improvements for existing tools.

There are so many ways you can help.
Never feel bad about your lack of contributions. I& #39;m willing to assert that you& #39;ve helped someone in this field and you just don& #39;t know it. Talks are great, but trust me, if you have given 0 talks you& #39;re still cooler than you know.
