Just because you are a "famous" streamer does NOT make you a good player. Some of you who stream need to understand that role playing is communal. You're telling a story... together. So many missed opportunities because people are just straight up selfish players.
What makes a great player? Someone who listens to other people at the table, checks in with other people about actions, and creates an engaging story with everyone. When you showboat over each other and ignore boundaries it's really boring. It's also selfish, and belittling.
Role-playing on a stream is for other's entertainment. It may involve a little more performance. However, role-playing is NOT acting. Some of you want to be actors and it shows. That's not a bad thing. It just means you're thinking more about yourself and your own character.
However, there are other people at the table. Other people who are also playing. Other people who need the spotlight. Other people who want to contribute to the story. If you consistently ignore what's being said by someone else and only focus on yourself, and what you want? Meh.
Role-playing is you playing a role. It's communal storytelling, not a showcase so you can dip out the rpg industry whenever Hollywood requires Nerd background talent. People want to play like their favorite streamers, but if they actually did they'd get disinvited from the table.
