A few days ago, Spotify released iOS version 8.5.74, which hides the current song title from VoiceOver, preventing us from opening the now playing screen. I& #39;ve sent beta feedback and am running 8.5.73 on my main device, while periodically checking new builds for a fix.
If you want to join me, This page has Spotify alpha and beta testing links for iOS. Apart from allowing you to test, this will also let you go back to 8.5.73 by using the "previous builds" screen. So I can update, find it hasn& #39;t been fixed, and downgrade. https://community.spotify.com/t5/Spotify-Answers/How-do-I-become-a-Spotify-Beta-tester/ta-p/4551518">https://community.spotify.com/t5/Spotif...
One final note: To make way for new testers, Spotify and other companies will sometimes remove people who haven& #39;t upgraded to the latest build since they are not actively testing: So if you have a second device, keep it on the latest so you don& #39;t get purged.
Update: I reached out to Spotify& #39;s support account. At first they told me to send beta feedback, but I clarified this was now their problem because 8.5.74 was out of beta. Feedback has now been sent in both places. When they broke the devices button, the fix was quick.
