A few days ago, Spotify released iOS version 8.5.74, which hides the current song title from VoiceOver, preventing us from opening the now playing screen. I've sent beta feedback and am running 8.5.73 on my main device, while periodically checking new builds for a fix.

One final note: To make way for new testers, Spotify and other companies will sometimes remove people who haven't upgraded to the latest build since they are not actively testing: So if you have a second device, keep it on the latest so you don't get purged.

Update: I reached out to Spotify's support account. At first they told me to send beta feedback, but I clarified this was now their problem because 8.5.74 was out of beta. Feedback has now been sent in both places. When they broke the devices button, the fix was quick.
