The Man that used to lift weights, stand up for himself at any cost had fallen into the UK trap
Beaten down by the system
I noticed when we would Skype his GF (big susan) would berate him and he would take it
With my Mum as a kid he took zero shxt
this was a shock

in 2014 (Feb) I had set up my first proper Online business
I had been a complete loser my whole life up until that breakthrough
I had never been financially responsible and I looked like a no hoper
I got a call from my Dad
He was in Hospital...

My Dad was on his way to a job interview and he fell
Broke his leg completely
I had just moved to Uruguay at this point, this was in May and my Amazon business had only taken off in Feb!
He told me he was ashamed but he needed help with his mortgage

I told him he didn't even need to look for a job ever again
He could just do work with me
That was my favorite phone call ever
But the pressure was on
I had been a loser up until that point now I am paying UK mortgages and expenses

My Dad took longer to recover than expected it took around 7 Months to a year for him to be back walking
We worked that whole time on Amazon and fortunately
(thank god!)
It was consistent enough to keep us going and the high season allowed me to invest

There were some real touch and go moments where I almost had to tell my Dad to look for work again
But not paying tax in Uruguay really helped us
I had achieved what I wanted
I had the online biz & I had retired my Dad
But I wanted more
I wanted him in South America

I knew this part of it would be tougher than retiring him
He was UK through and through and his "ball & chain" "in the dog house" relationship with big susan was all he knew
I started putting in the work to get him out here
It took a YEAR of convincing
He often hung up on me

He would ask questions about South America and look at properties
One night he came home from Costco (sams club) with food
Big Susan began throwing the food at him for not getting the right stuff

He got on Skype with me and said "i think i can do this"
But we need to do it now, before I change my mind
I instantly booked him a flight to Buenos Aires Argentina
He sat Big Susan down and told her
She began breaking things and threatening legal action

He went straight to the car dealer, sold his car
Got a taxi to heathrow
and flew out to Buenos Aires
I got there a few days before, I had been travelling in Chile
I was nervous, I had not seen my Dad in person in nearly 10 years
I was shocked when I saw him

He came out in a wheelchair and had aged a lot and was very over weight
He had not been living or treating himself well
The doctors had put him on close to 30 pills a day and of course no mention of him fixing up his diet (typical)
We stayed in buenos aires for 2 weeks

I wanted my Dad to get used to it all
We ate in the best steak houses and he met his first Latina
(He enjoyed himself there)
I was so happy, 10 days before he had been getting cosco goods thrown at his head and now he is out with a latina enjoying life
What a difference

I knew the next step would be to get my Dad off the pills
Pain meds are one of the biggest killers
He had 100lbs to lose and drank a lot of coke
I rented a cabin in the Mountains in Mendoza Argentina for 3 months
We moved in... and got to work

We started with just walking and then we found a sports club gym and began adding weight training
My Dad dropped 60lbs in 3 months and got rid of most of the pills he was taking
We had fixed the final hurdle

- Chile
- Uruguay
- Brazil
And there are memories I will never forget

My Dad is a completely different person today
He loves life, he eats steak, he distrusts big pharma, he lifts heavy weights and dates latinas
