I mention Christians because being one and learning of His teachings, He didn’t cast anyone away because they had different political views or faith, He wanted us to be in the image of God and love thy neighbor no matter their profession, their faith, their race or anything else.

I don’t embrace labels as an identity except that one because my faith in God helps me to believe we can be better and to love & respect others lives. I’m also bothered when others use that label to embrace hatred and polarize us further which contradicts His teachings.

Ending this thread with this: are there changes we can make to improve our country & our safety? Of course but we don’t have to do so at the extent of the lives of others & we need to work together to find solutions instead of differences or else this life we live is a waste.
