This is *so* important. Of course there is limited research on it, it’s not ethical to expose people intentionally, especially if pregnant.

I have to say that we really should care more about the toxins that fire fighting, policing, and military use on us and our environment.

And don’t stop caring just because there’s not good data on pregnant people, we were all in utero at one time in our lives!
And for my fish lovers out there...
you probably only know about mercury in your seafood.

There’s just a LOT we don’t know about how toxins impact us.
Well, this thread took a wild turn, but just remember that the absence of a perfect and peer reviewed study does not mean tear gas is safe.

We’ve got to hold our public agencies to higher standards. The burden should be on THEM to prove it’s safe.
