alright fellas #sage2020 review thread let& #39;s go

had to omit some games for various reasons (some will be covered once the site goes back up) but i should be able to cover a lot of the heavy hitters
i& #39;ll start with the original titles that i have on hand in alphabetical order
Annalynn by @itsCruiseElroy:
Really good way to start off my dive into SAGE. Re-imagining Pac-Man as a platformer is one thing, but the attention to detail here really brings it all together. Last level is a little unfair but not bad at all. Definitely give it a play.
Antonball Deluxe by @Summitsphere:
Mario Bros. meets Arkanoid. Really fun, but it was waaaay too easy to just miss the ball. The concept is really good and it nailed the aesthetic of the GBA games that it was inspired by. There& #39;s a good reason why everyone was excited about it.
Astral Blitz by @CrossGearGames:
Looks, sounds, and plays great but there isn& #39;t really a whole lot to go off of at the moment. I& #39;m not that good at shmups so I can& #39;t say for sure what& #39;s going on here. Couldn& #39;t see enemy shots that well but I enjoyed it.
Axe Girl by @DrawmiRami:
Solid gameplay, but a little floaty. Level design is mostly there but the level in the demo feels a little barren. I really liked the concept of the "axe throw" move but didn& #39;t really find many opportunities to use it. It& #39;s still fun to play though.
@BrockCrocodile:
Level design is super nice and flowy. It was really hard to see everything at the default resolution but I enjoyed it either way. Got a silent laugh out of the writing too. Not sure what the gun is for though.
(addendum: apparently the only time I tried using the gun was when I had no ammo whoops)
