If money was what it took to win elections of any kind in Jamaica, kindly explain how one of the country's wealthiest men not only lost his seat, but was given a rassing by a neophyte who had no money? If ever there was was a bullshit excuse, it has been certainly proven

When PNP has a majority in the House we say "the JLP must step up and be an aggressive opposition on behalf of the people"...when JLP has a majority in the House "democracy is under threat from those who will seek to use it to undermine the process"

What have we taught the 18-35 generation over the years about our national/political discussions and opinions on democracy? We've pretty much made it obvious that hypocrisy, intellectual deficiency and dishonesty, partisan fanaticism and blatant lies score highly for us...sad

We cannot continue to create generations built on a premise and foundation of brainwashing, propaganda, so called "history" that only has one sided/skewed records for either party..it's time for us to ensure we foster and develop critical thinking and make it more than just talk
