Total #Crypto market thoughts thread: As I've said many times, I always liked reading these from my favorite CT accts when shit was dumping. Here is my thread on current thoughts.

$BTC $ETH $ALTS #Altcoins #Bitcoin $LINK $SRM #Ethereum

Before I get started, I want to say this: I still think we are in a bull market. I repeat: I still think we are in a bull market. This is a bull market for $ALTS and $BTC. This means I think that dips should be bought, price is still going to go higher, and market will recover.

Just because something pulls back it does not mean this is the end. Things take time to reverse (unless its the March crash). We'll know after a few weeks if this indeed is the top for a while. Until then, play it lvl to lvl.

$BTC always dictates the crypto market for now. Any big #Bitcoin volatility is going to hurt $ALTS hugely rn. I see there being 3 scenarios. For me, BTC is still in a macro bull market and I'm not going to start calling for 8ks until 10k gets lost.

I personally still am bullish on BTC until we see 10k get lost on HTF charts. The follow up is going to be important as well to see if this is a range deviation. If BTC starts selling off big, the entire market will feel it. Those 3 scenarios are laid out in the previous post.

I think that volatility is going to be quite high in the coming days and then we'll see a ranging period, either between 8-10k or 10-12k. We shall see if 10k can hold or not. Demand is getting eaten up but I'm also thinking sellers are getting tired.

The important thing I want you to take away from this is that BTC DICTATES THE MARKET RIGHT NOW. This is the case in most times but especially so right now. Always paint all potentials in your head and all scenarios so you have a plan.

What about $ETH? #Ethereum has generally followed $BTC PA ( $ETHUSD). I believe this will continue to be the case. As far as $ETHBTC goes, I still think that has a macro bullish MS too. That said, if BTC goes lower, I expect ETHBTC to test some lower areas and cool.

This still isn't bearish if $ETHUSD or $ETHBTC pulls back further; it's still a bullish market structure for now. Wait until key lvls like $300 get broken before calling for doom and gloom. That said, if market leaders like ETH start dumping, watch out for all $ALTS IMO.

What about the $BTC.D chart? Lots of notes on the chart, we have 2 scenarios, both of which will follow $BTC PA. If #Bitcoin pumps or dumps, we'll see BTC.D go higher. I still believe that Q4 is going to be great for #Altcoins in general (specifically ALT/BTC pairs).

What about other #Altcoins? There are still many w. strong bullish MS. The 1s I'm focusing on are: $LINK $SOL $DOT $SRM $YFI and anything trending. Those are all pulling back to key lvls- dips are for buying IMO.

I still think these hot coins are going to have strong weeks ahead but again, it'll be dictated by BTC- If BTC dumps, we're going to see further downside on these.

Summary: I still believe both $BTC and #Altcoins are in a bullish market cycle. I still believe both will go higher and that we should not call for doom and gloom until 10k> gets lost on HTF charts. There are many $ALTS that still look decent on HTF charts.

I believe that BTC is going to be volatile for a little while longer and don't plan on trading alts in the short term. That said, I believe that BTC will consolidate for a bit which will give alts some time to breathe and recover. That's not saying they'll full reverse-

it depends what BTC does. If BTC nukes lower, Alts will have a short bounce and then dive lower. Again, $BTC is the leader right now. There's not much clarity to me in the next 48 hours. I think that BTC has found a short term bottom but I can't say that convincingly.

My personal plan is to start taking short term trades and not target 20% like I was before- go back to 2018 bear market styles, fast trades. Take profit, in and out. Eventually a trend will be established but until then, I'm guessing it'll be choppy.

In terms of other stuff, I'm not sure how DeFi / Uniswap stuff will be affected. My guess is that people are going to go more risk off given the conditions, so I would personally stay away from Uniswap / presales/ etc for right now. Wait until everyone has $ to gamble first.

This recent cleansing should be a good reminder to:

-Always Take profits
-Always use Stop losses
-Always have $ to buy the dip.

I've failed on all 3 of those recently. Call it bull market euphoria, call it laziness, call it whatever. I'm not immune and I've taken hits too.
