That is the one thing I WILL argue with, because a person& #39;s identity belongs to them. It& #39;s not a plot device. Now, once I know a person& #39;s identity, in fiction, I may used it as a plot device--I also may not. It depends on the story.
But if straightness doesn& #39;t have to be justified by the narrative, neither does queerness. If straight people get to just exist and have adventures, so do queer people. Period.
And that point, I WILL argue.
