Hey y’all,
What God has for you is for you... but your lack of focus, your procrastination & your squandering of pristine opportunities for advancement will keep you from seeing these things come to pass.
See also: disobedience.

For some of us, if we looked back over our lives & were brutally honest with ourselves... not leaning into certain things with everything that we had is what has kept us stagnant.
The opportunities & resources were there and we twiddled our thumbs.
Stop playing with purpose.

I love reading between the lines of scripture and one of my favorite nuances about the life of Christ is that He was severely focused and one-track minded.
In 2020 terms, Jesus was that person that we would say “did too much.”
But look at the yield on His spiritual investment.

If your homie told you right now “man I think I don’t need to eat or drink anything for 40 days/nights so I can be prepared for what God has for me in my next season” many of us would be like “ehhh.... calm down fam.”
But Jesus did it.
That’s why He could die to Himself.

We’re “struggling” with sin & “waiting” on our “breakthrough” because we’re drunk with ease.
Show me in the text where God promised a comfortable life full of ease.

Worth it > easy
It’s not supposed to be easy. It takes focus. It takes discipline. It takes consistency. It takes excellence.
The cheat code though? We have the Holy Spirit. The text says on the day of Pentecost the apostles received POWER.
Tap in. Greater works shall we do.
