We no longer associate with #ExcludedUK (the CIC).

For those asking for more information. Here is a thread...

@ExcludedUK is a registered CIC. CICs *cannot* engage in political campaigning.

#ExcludedUK has presented itself (to the media, MPs & key organisations), as an umbrella group for the campaign groups, which it is not...

#ExcludedUK deletes/mutes/blocks members of the “community” Facebook group who question any of their choices/practices.

ExcludedUK chose to *not* engage the campaign group leaders in APPG planning/strategy conversations, despite positioning themselves as stakeholder managers...

#ExcludedUK have belittled, bullied and *excluded* members of the campaign groups, and have repeatedly attempted to undermine and discredit the painstaking research and efforts put in over the past five months+ (voluntarily) by those groups and individuals...

#ExcludedUK chose to *exclude* campaign groups from giving input, guidance or feedback in regards to letters put forward to the APPG, which included proposals detrimental to avenues being actively pursued by campaign groups.

ExcludedUK were therefore removed as secretariat.

#ExcludedUK opted to *not* support #MindTheGaps, which has donations (targeted at coming from non-excluded people) go directly to @Samaritans who offer 24/7 help for those experiencing MH difficulties.

ExcludedUK takes money off *excluded* people to fund their activities.

There is *so* much more that we, and other campaign groups, have had to deal with behind the scenes (when all we’ve ever tried to do is fight for justice for #ExcludedUK people)...

But hopefully this helps to explain why we can no longer be associated with @ExcludedUK (the CIC).
