I doubt Trump supporters even know what trans really means
Trump supporter views: I hate women, I hate gnc people, I hate gay people, I hate trans people because they are likely gay or gnc.
Trump supporter views: I hate women, I hate gnc people, I hate gay people, I hate trans people because they are likely gay or gnc.
Me: I love women, gnc people, and gay people. All of these things make me critical of gender ideology. I do not believe that oppressors (males) can change their pronouns at the age of 25 and “identify” into the class they oppress.
I do not believe that being gay or gnc is EVER a reason to consider yourself a member the opposite sex. I believe the only acceptable reason to do that is if you have true, and otherwise unmanageable, gender dysphoria.
And even still those with that condition still need to be aware of the implications of telling the world that they are something that they aren’t.
Call gender real as much as you want. That doesn’t stop it from being a social construct- something that sex isn’t- and something that shouldn’t be used as a tool to silence women.
Gender is the thing that teaches little girls to play with dolls and little boys to play outside. It’s the thing that tells women to know their place, shut up, and listen to men.
That teaches us to be less confident in ourselves and our ideas while teaching men that their ideas matter more, and when a woman speaks up he has to overcome that socialization to listen to what she has to say.
Call me a Trump supporter all you want, but much like calling men women, you won’t be able to change the hard fact that it’s just not true.
So no, I seriously doubt Trump supporters (or most TRAs) are even capable of understanding gender criticism
