Trump is a rising fascist.
He's only begun to take the kind of power he *could* take, if made electorally valid in a popular vote.

It may not seem like much, but the people still hold a form of soft power that can be exercised through our votes and through protest. We need both, and we can't win with only one side of that.

Voting alone will lead to another rising fascist in the future.
Protest alone will lead to solidifying fascist power and eventually civil war.

People need to stop wingeing about having to vote blue. It's one time. Swallow your pride, if only because orange man bad, and get him out of office.
Then spend the next four years protesting with a president who will be less likely to threaten your movement with federal troops.

And yes, I'm aware they say it's "okay" to vote at the end of the thread. My problem is with the thread existing in the first place, and the attitude that voting isn't a civic responsibility.
