I know it’s #Caturday but yesterday Empress Kana came to visit and that means it’s time for another Puppy Thread! I mean, unless there are any objections...

....yeah, that’s what I thought. More Kana it is! If you insist.

She arrived Ready To Rumble - charging the fence and pouncing at the big dogs before joining them under the deck for a little casual hole-digging.

Whilst digging, she discovered the Pastel Pride Llama - an old toy of Lucy’s that had been buried for ages. Much puppy glee did ensue

Once tired of digging, she approached Greyson and Lucy to play. Sort of.

For you see, Greyson and Lucy are big, and Kana is smol. Her confidence is growing with each trip, but she is still hesitant to party too hard. (Yes, I posted this last night.)

Then everybody hit the patio for drinks in the shade. I had a canned wine spritzer. Kana had water.

Kana made a new friend, Bag Of Dirt. It’s so refreshingly easy to dig around in...

“Oh Bag Of Dirt, such adventures we shall have...”

Then it was back to playing in the grass.

But also, chasing Greyson around the yard was a pretty good time.

At this point, Kana was pretty amped - and Greyson gave her the “no no bark” so she went back to playing with the Pastel Pride Llama for a bit.

Then her bouncy little butt went after Lucy! It went...not as well as she’d hoped.

They ended up playing under the deck, and Kana got too rough. Lucy gave her a hard mom-style correction b0rk and scared Kana backwards into the Big Dirt Crater, but she couldn’t climb out. Puppy drama ensued. Five minutes later, all was forgiven.

Eventually she wore the big dogs out, so we played with my stretchy headband for awhile.

She did some more digging...

She chillaxed on the patio...

Showed off her back beans...

And at long last...she was pooped out enough to crash under a patio seat. It was time to go home.
