Since no one else will, let’s talk about The Teachers’ Day & how it has turned into a diabolical sham in the current times.
Gone are those days & our times when if a Student was wrong, the Parent would agree with the Teacher and motivate the Child to improve. [Thread - Tweet 1 ]
What happens these days is exactly the opposite, as in, the Child whether right or wrong, is encouraged by the Parent who in the garb of protectiveness, don’t shy away from insulting the entire Teaching Community, in front of their Children.

How quickly have our Times changed from —> “Sir/Madam, ye sirf aapse darta hai, please keep a check on him ya Screws tight rakhna iske“ —>TO—> “ How Dare You Say Anything to My Child ? I will do this/ that and make you apologise “
[Thread - Tweet 3]
This sets up a Bad Precedent for the Children because, they will never take their Teachers seriously after that. Sadly, the entire respect goes down the drain.

Take for example the Issue of School Fees.
Parents openly addressed the School Managements and Teachers as Mafias and Dons, in front of their Children. Will that Child respect the Teachers anymore ? Your guess is as good as mine.
[Thread - Tweet 5]
I am not saying that this is happening everywhere. A majority of people online will disagree with me and subject me to humiliation or sarcasm by quoting my Tweets. Unfortunately, This is the Reality. Fancy Hashtags and Videos will not be able to change this.
[Thread - Tweet 6]
The youngsters these days simply don’t care or respect or give a damn about their Teachers anymore. It’s just us colleagues and a handful of students who would value the contributions.
[Thread - Tweet 7]
The Light will never diminish. Despite all this, the Teachers will continue to do their Job. Regardless of the fact, that a Parent is openly mocking that Teacher in an Online Class in front of all Students.
[ Thread - Tweet 8]
Maybe, its time the Parents stem this “Erosion of Values” & start guiding their children to respect the hands that mould them, instead of becoming puppets at the hands of ruling State Governments, who shy away from fulfilling their own duties & promises.
[Thread - Tweet 9]
Maybe it’s time for Parents themselves to start showing some sense of Respect to their Wards’ School & Teachers. Maybe its time to show respect to the efforts of those who were not well-versed with the Technology. Maybe that is what’s Required. 🙏🏻🙂
