1. Spoke to my wedding venue yesterday, who said that the restaurant next door that’s 3x smaller than the venue can have 60 guests dining at the one time, but because of the #COVIDrestrictions, they can only have 50 people dining at a wedding meal in a much larger space.
2. This makes zero sense. Why can’t a large, airy, well spaced room have more than 50 people celebrate a wedding? What is the logic behind it?
I’ve had lovely meals in small restaurants and pubs that are also following guidelines, but contained way more than 50 people.

3. Why are engaged couples being punished like this? Think of the money we are putting into our economy! Thousands! I think a reform of the wedding restrictions needs to happen soon! Perhaps catered to people per square foot of venue rather than pigeon holing an occasion?
