I really don’t think it’s unreasonable for a woman established in her career, with her own home and car, who pays her own bills and expenses, and manages her life successfully, to not want to date a man who doesn’t have those things

Even if a woman doesn’t have all of those things, that’s not an excuse to try to make her settle. Stop trying to give us less than, especially Black women who frequently take care of, uplift and upgrade everyone who comes into their life

I’m seeing a lot of think pieces and my bigger issue is that a lot of men don’t want to treat women well, they want to finesse and do the bare minimum while also trying to claim that women are trying to take everything from them and a lot of them don’t have anything to take
I cannot believe ppl are really trying to fight ME on what EYE want to be the standard in MY relationship
I’ve already taken care of men, been their support as they don’t put in the work, etc and I’m tired
