My personal finances were in shambles just a year ago. 🙈

I was neck deep in credit card debt, I was spending more than I was earning, and investments.. well, I practically had none.

I knew the theory of it all, just never had the discipline.
Then, one fine day I get a call from a credit card shark - I got to be honest I was shook up by that call.

I never thought that's how much I could screw up. And I decided, it's now or never.

I need to inculcate financial discipline in life.
I started by educating myself on YouTube. Videos around personal finance, money management, investments and practically applying them.

They helped me a lot in building the mindset I needed to start this journey.

Next, I picked up books.
The following books changed my entire outlook about personal finance and investing, highly recommended reading.

Rich Dad, Poor Dad @theRealKiyosaki
How To Get Rich & Retire Early
Let's Talk Money @monikahalan
The Warren Buffet Way
4-Hour Workweek

Freshers, get all of these.
The books changed my life. And finally, came the hard part, putting all this into real life practice.

Of course, it took time, practice, patience - but it was all worth it.

I can proudly say that I am in a much better position today, having learned a lot of lessons.
Not to forget, I also read up on all kinds of blogs across the internet.

Special mention to @cleartax_in and @_groww for the technical stuff.
@themotleyfool for just really good content and podcast.

Please add more to this list here.
Point is, nothing is unachievable. If I could learn and master this (and even guide others), so can you.

All you have to do is try.

P.s. one of my favourite tools for this planning is the 10 Year financial plan.
The 10-20 Year Financial Plan completely changed my perspective about money, management and my life. This is a solid tool if you want to plan out your life and take control of shit.đŸ’Ș

I made a video about it recently, in Hindi

Tell me how it is.
