Alright, I'm off! Mute this thread if you don't want my ramblings on early railway infrastructure, industry shaping landscape, and connecting with lost heritage.
Here's where I'm sort of joining the waggonway! The track would have passed right in front of me and continued on through what is now a school grounds- can't go through that, so round I go.
A surprise! I think this may have been part of the original waggonway wall. It's definitely older than the housing and that strange brick block looks very much like a "something else was here!" bit- I'll double check with the maps later.

I don't think people would appreciate me scrambling over their garden fences and I am not that gymnastic, so we'll follow the road.
