apparently the UK government is cutting funding for supporting people with chronic pain, which will cut the access for many medications. if this goes through, my partner won& #39;t have access to the medications that currently keep his agonizing pain under control.
1 in 4 people in the UK suffer from chronic pain of some sort. without proper medication to help these people go through day-to-day life, their mental health will plummet, likely to serious levels. we need to talk about this.
many people are suggesting that anti-depressants should be given out to people with chronic pain, rather than prescribing strong painkillers, but that won& #39;t work for every case. for some people, being given anti-depressants for their chronic pain causes more harm than good.
