So I was watching the adore you mv and all I can say is I'm sorry... If you look at the extended version of the mv you could see how the fish and H saved each other (literally speaking) but in the end they realized they have to let go of one another +
in order to grow in an environment suited for each other and to achieve what they want. The fish having a quick start shows how the other person moved on so quickly (and we know that from the rest of the album as well) and how Harry had a slower start +
but still a start, the thing is he left at the wrong time (an odd number day) and he had a little bit more trouble healing from this break up (the journey presented throughout the album) Fine line being the last song of the album and the constant repetition of "we'll be alright+
However shows us that in the end we will be alright one way or another even if we have to reassure us about it non-stop (hence the repetition and the instrumental going higher and higher as the song is rising reaching the climax and then falling again at the end exactly+
as it happens in a story. Also at the end of the extended mv he is using the jars filled with his screams that we see at the start of the mv meaning that he is using not only the pain from this breakup up (he meets the fish after this scene) +
But everything else he had to bottle up (once again literally speaking) in order to get this push and move on. The entire album is just a masterpiece and I don't think we understand that enough and it's not really our fault. It needs more time to settle, maybe in a few years...
Honestly I can probably still go on and on analyzing this video so I'm leaving this thread now I guess open for a continuation. Also idk if anyone said any of this before, at least I never seen it put this way...
