Why can't people comprehend the fact that, yes, their romantic I.D. is straight, but saying they are & that's why they're not w/ us isn't it. Because saying "Oh your cishet/straight" has 100% different connotation than "Oh you're cis & bi?" Plus yeah, they day that because theres-
So much aphobia in the community & the whole "If you wouldn't fuck a [guy/girl] you aren't really bi/pan/gay/a lesbian" & while I am not ace myself, I'd imagine that'd create doubt & insecurity, maybe not majority [or even at all] but still. & straight people generally, overall-
Don't say shit like that [like yeah the "bro you haven't had sex? Are you gay???" & Shit like that, and maybe they do & I'm just not seeing it, but yeah]

Plus you'll say fucking allies are in it & defend their use of the A but basically tell aces, aros, & agender people to fuck-
Off, like ???

Also a Tumblr identity? Like bro have you gotten off twitter, cause this isnt a Tumblr identity what are you on??? AVEN was founded in 2001, Tumblr was founded in 2007, and I'm p sure aces & aros existed before 2001 at that, so uh????

Like do you mean "People on-
Tumblr talking about identities" or do you GENUINELY, like w/ your whole chest, think that Tumblr was the origin of Asexuality & Aromantism??

Plus the whole "They don't face discrimination" yeah, if they're heteroromantic, they can happily [hopefully] get married, but they were-
Still classed as a mental illness in the past, some doctors/therapists will STILL deny the fact that that is your I.D. & no it's not the meds you're on, no it's not a late puberty thing, etc.

And there's still a lot of people who either say:

A: Its a modifier, not an identity-
Like, it is tho what...

Or...

B: Its mostly [not always] caused by trauma, so they probably have some sorta dating trauma/sex trauma & that's why.

Also the fact that some of y'all are so hung up on "Can have sex" & "Have sexual attraction" lemme explain in the way I get it:
Ace & aro are both identities AND spectrums. Demisexual is technically under the ace umbrella for example.

Plus, yeah no attraction, but that doesn't automatically mean no libido. & doesn't mean you can't just... Have sex. Like it's not anything like this? Yeah some are sex-
Repulsed/would never do it, but that doesn't mean all? Like honestly thinking about how you got to the two places...

To me being LGBTQ+ means: -Not being cis and/or -Not being heterosexual OR heteroromantic & feel free to unfollow, block, softblock if you disagree :)
