Explaining the relation between shampoos and football coaching [Thread]

Imagine one day you scratch your scalp and find out you're suffering from dandruff, what do you do?
Exactly, you buy a shampoo and start applying it to your scalp, does the dandruff heal immediately? And if it does, would it come back later on?

Let's say your scalp is a football club, the dandruff is your goals and ambitions within the club, short and long term, the shampoo is the manager and coaching staff you hire, when you hire a new manager, you hope for immediate results to help you reach that goal

If there are no immediate results you give the shampoo a chance, keep applying it for a month, two or even three, keeping in mind each shampoo has a different formula and composition, some of them are sulfate free, some of them aren't

Similarly with the coaches, each coach has an identity and preferred formation, different tactics and ideologies, you pick and choose who you think should fit your club the most

But if after that trial period you see no results, the dandruff got worse, the shampoo is making no impact, you go down the market and search for a new one, one that hopefully will rest your head and cure your dandruff for years to come

You could be on the edge of relegation, falling down into Europa League spots, when you should be hoping and expecting to do better so you examine the current market and hire a new coach to help you potentially get out of the crisis

You finally find that one shampoo, it healed your dandruff, you are now dandruff free, you're living with the benefits of bragging that advantage you have, you keep applying the same shampoo for years and years until they stop producing that version of the shampoo

Or the founding company manipulates the formula to boost the income or your scalp becomes immune to the shampoo and it goes back to relapse

The manager has been phenomenal, you won trophies, you had a fairly decent era, you showed it off every season possible until the coach decided to leave or his tactics were no longer efficient due to the natural change and progress of the beautiful game

And so the cycle goes on and on.

Maybe after all, it was all definitely shampoo.
