I sprained my ankle badly yesterday, was supposed to rest the leg(my advice to patients) and let my wife help me out with stuff, No! Stronghead no gree me. Because, "I no be cripple". Did almost everything myself.

Guess who woke up barely able to walk with a really bad ankle?
It made me feel like a weakling, just laying around and letting her do everything.

I knew the best thing would be to just sit still.

Made me realize that's how a lot of people live their lives, unwilling to accept help because it makes them look weak and end up suffering for it
Accepting help doesn't make you weak, it's a sign of strength even.

You're strong enough to know where your limits are.

Stubbornness is not strength.
