I'm bored here's a list of singaporean war heros who are more deserving of a story than a romance action drama about rich British people https://twitter.com/ITV/status/1301218336538271745
Elizabeth Choy Su-moi was a Singaporean educator and councillor who is regarded as a war heroine in Singapore. Along with her husband, Choy Khun Heng, she supplied medicine, money and messages to prisoners-of-war interned in Changi Prison when the Japanese occupied Singapore
Adnan bin Saidi was a Malayan military officer of the 1st Infantry Brigade who fought the Japanese at the Battle of Pasir Panjang in Singapore during World War II. He is considered a national hero in Singapore and Malaysia for his actions during the battle
Lim Bo Seng was a Chinese resistance fighter based in Singapore and Malaya during World War II. When the Second Sino-Japanese War broke, he participated in anti-Japanese activities in Malaya and Singapore.
tw // death and massacre sorry I forgot to put for the rest

or how about, idk, the many people who helped protect their Chinese neighbours during the whole sook ching thing by hiding them in their houses to protect them from the Japanese soldiers
this one isn't really ww2 or war heroes but as far as country heroes go Samsui women are super important in our history and I'd much rather see a show about them
also I tried to find links about any Indian heroes but like typical Singapore I couldn't find anything 🥴🥴🥴 the other hero was a British guy and I didn't wanna add
