Hi Joe. It in fact does. And @ me next time. https://twitter.com/sayssimonson/status/1302106091640283138">https://twitter.com/sayssimon...
This is the law. When you register to vote, they tell you this. States have a cleaning process, and that involves sending mail to your home. If it’s returned, you are inactivated. He never changed his address or thought to forward his mail. https://twitter.com/sayssimonson/status/1302106398134857729?s=21">https://twitter.com/sayssimon...
See above tweet. His parents should have - when they continued receiving his mail - instructed their adult son to update his registration. These are the rules. https://twitter.com/sayssimonson/status/1302106544620875776">https://twitter.com/sayssimon...
No. Joe, I want you to click a link on a county webpage and submit a form. This isn’t hard. https://twitter.com/sayssimonson/status/1302107173175033856">https://twitter.com/sayssimon...
Well. That’s literally how you get the government to do things. You tell it to. He enrolled under that address and neither he nor his parents took appropriate and legal steps to have him removed. https://twitter.com/sayssimonson/status/1302107795681161216">https://twitter.com/sayssimon...
When you move you change your address in a number of places: your bank, employer, the DMV, insurance, utilities. It’s insane that the idea of also logging on and updating your voter registration is some monumental task.
Anyway I moved literally today and did this in 5 min. And 3 of those were me spelling my street name wrong.
