A3! Characters as chicken breeds: a thread
Sakuya: Rhode Island Red
A staple of backyard flocks! I've had one for about 6 years and she's the sweetest thing you'll ever meet, super friendly! They always come up to say hi
Masumi: Black Australorp
A little bit of a solitary breed, the ones I've had are either super sweet or very standoffish! Much like Masumi. They have pretty black eyes!
Citron: Sultan
I've never had one myself but they're a perfect balance between goofy and regal!
Tsuzuru: Buff Orpington
Literally one of the best chicken breeds ever, they're hardy, very friendly, and a bit motherly! I was leaning towards Leghorns, which are very productive birds, but I decided they're too flighty. Orpingtons are simply the cutest
Side note: I've had 4 buff orpingtons: Buttercup, Butterscotch, Buttercream, and Super Baby Tooth To The Rescue (To The Rescue).

The last one was not my idea. 😔
Itaru: Light Brown Dutch Bantam
I may be a bit biased but of course my oshi would match up to my all-time favorite breed.....
Sweet birds, but they can get a little bitchy and competitive at times!
Chikage: Russian Orloff
He was a tricky one but I finally landed on the Orloff! Wacky little things, and they always seem to be watching you....(haha I gave him glasses)
Tenma: New Hampshire Red
I don't think this one needs much explanation....
They're very bold, hardy, adventurous birds! Mine was very bossy...
Misumi: California Grey
These are very sporty little birds! Lesser known compared to some other similar-looking breeds. Mine was a total whirlwind, once when she got scared, she managed to fly all the way onto the phone wire!!! It took over an hour to get her down...
Kazunari: Buff Frizzled Cochin
Very flashy, and very sociable! Very fitting for the party boy! (My frizzle is kinda an ass right now though)
Yuki: Bearded Mille Fleur D'uccle/Porcelain D'uccle
Couldn't pick a variety since they're both so beautiful....and a pain in the ass to find at a reasonable price 🙄
Tiny fashionistas with an attitude!
Muku: Columbian Cochin Bantam
The sweetest, fluffiest little babies you will ever meet. These pictures don't do justice to their adorableness....
Kumon: Serama
The smallest chicken breed, with more energy than body mass. Definitely a little cocky and showy, but I also took one out to lunch in my pocket once, she was very well behaved. The picture on the left is Simon, my little boy!!!
Banri: Delaware
Banri was another really hard one, but I went with this breed. Very outgoing, usually the bosses of their flocks. The most aggressive when it comes to greeting me, eating snacks, always trying to look cool. Right is mine!
Juza: Buckeye
Big and bulky, this is a more intimidating breed. They're great for keeping an eye on the flock however, and any bird raised in a good home is going to be very sweet, despite their scary appearance.
Sakyo: Golden-laced Wyandotte
(I was going to use buff variety but couldn't find any pics!! Oops!)
A little grouchier breed, and mine definitely acts like some old grandma. A little bossy, but very pretty and very lovable!!
Taichi: Mottled Java
Based on my own, these are really excitable birds! They run around all day, investigating every nook and cranny they investigated the day before. They love French fries and chasing whoever has the French fry. Both pics are mine
Azami: Blue Andalusian
These birds are tall and lanky, rather than fluffy! I've heard they're not as sociable, and a little standoffish.
Omi: Blue Cochin (standard size)
These guys are HUGE. HUGE. Taller than my knees huge. And half of their mass is feathers, becuase they're cuddle fluffballs! A very sweet, protective breed!
Tasuku: Dark Brahma
Another chunker of a bird! Their skull shape makes them look kinda pissed off but they're total sweethearts!!
Hisoka: White Silkie
Yes, those are feathers. Yes, it looks like a pile of dog hair.
They are very friendly birds, which means they love falling asleep on laps! Somehow, they are able to see...
Tsumugi: Barred Plymouth Rock
Another staple of backyard flocks, this is a very very friendly bird!! Absolute darlings.
Homare: Golden-laced Polish
I love these funky birds so much....
Theyre just so artsy and dramatic I couldn't pick anything else for Homare!
Azuma: White Cubalaya
These birds have such graceful, elegant white feathers and a trailing tail, they're perfect for Azuma!
Guy: Welsummer
This is a more stoic breed, calm and not very social. I have 2, one of which is my huge rooster! They also have eye wrinkles like Guy hehe
Right picture is mine!
And here's the end! I might add some side characters in the morning if I get ideas....
