On the futility of containment zones,&why we cannot copy paste actions done in Wuhan in Feb to Delhi/India in Sept 2020

Ok this is going to get well meaning responses like ‘stay safe’ etc. I feel safe. I have the same level of risk as anyone not in a containment zone. Also have no supply issues because barricades don’t hamper human movement. Which is good since they serve no purpose anyways. Contd
How is a barricade hampering ventilation you may ask. A grocery shop is at the border of containment zone. One shutter can open but the other shutter cannot be opened now! The shop is otherwise ideal for covid times-fully open sides! But barricade has made it riskier now 
Noone has come to my place for tracing or to ask about symptoms or to ally possible anxiety/stigma. Means they dont expect others in the zone to get sick - then why have a zone??
This is just as well because I have zero interaction with folks in the 6 buildings in the zone!

Most days there is no police at barricade. Today there are 2-3 hanging out doing zilch
Waste of human resources & public money when all hands needed on deck.Why not have them or health workers/volunteers utilise time for home visits &counselling/contact tracing/ reducing stigma?

What is the logic of containment zones? Does the virus seep in through neighbours walls (like seelan eh

If you can spare 3 people to hang out all day at a pointless barricade - you can spare human resources for proper contact tracing

If I were to test positive - they would seal the area but would not look for the three people I have met in the last week - who do not live in my neighbourhood. It is no wonder the epidemic is out of control. We’ve abandoned a bedrock of outbreak control - contact tracing.
You would say but not possible to do tracing with 80k cases/day! I agree. I am a pragmatic person 
. It is also not possible to have 100% public comply with masks. But they say around 60% is good enough to slow transmission.Same way we cannot do 100% tracing, can we do 20%, 30%?

This talk of futility of containment zones & need for tracing brings up latest ICMR testing criteria,which are divided based on whether one is in containment zone or not

Not to mention increased risk to life caused by containment zones. People get discriminated in using routine healthcare services, pregnant women denied care. Ambulances cannot pass. People cannot get access to urgent needs (govt assurances of assistance are unsubstantiated)
