(1) Dear @NRMA. This is my friend Negar. On 15 March 2019, Negar was driving in Belconnen ACT with her 7yo son, when she was hit by a drunk driver who was driving 193kph in an 80 zone. Thankfully, Negar’s son only sustained minor physical injuries. But Negar wasn’t to lucky.

(2) So @NRMA, Negar sustained severe injuries and is incredibly lucky to survive. Negar was in hospital did a long time, and since coming out of hospital, she cannot drive, she doesn’t leave the house, and she is in constant pain. This accident has completely ruined her life.

(3) But @NRMA, it’s not just Negar who is suffering. This accident has impacted in her entire family, because Negar can’t support them like she so desperately wants to. Negar needs two surgeries one on her hip and one on her ankle. But, you (NRMA) won’t approve the surgeries.

(4) Why won’t you approve the surgeries, @NRMA? Whilst Negar has received 6 different support letters from 2 surgeons, her GP, physiotherapist, pain management Dr AND physiologist, you are STILL trying to get out of paying for her surgeries. Negar is SUFFERING.

(5) and people reading this, do you know what the @NRMA are basing their refusal on? It’s because they had their very own PAID Dr Simon Kinney assess Negar for 10 minutes online, who determined that her surgeries weren’t needed! NOT NEEDED!

(6) so, @NRMA, I don’t at all trust the doctor that YOU PAY to assess injuries, and his lame 10 minute online assessment. Who I do trust is Negar, who I have seen suffer the actual pain and trauma from this accident, which you are adding to because of your greed.

(7) So what I’m going to do, @NRMA, is keep publicly shaming you until you decide to do the right thing and PAY FOR Negar’s surgeries, as she is entitled to as a well insured member of your company. How many other people besides Negar are you doing this to? Pay up, NRMA.
